We are hiring Marketing

Digital Marketing Officer

Plan and run social media, SEO, ads and content for Persmon and Persmon Marketing clients, and report on the enquiries they bring in.

  • Team: Marketing
  • Type: Full-time
  • Location: Kampala (Mukwano Courts)

Persmon Marketing helps businesses bring in customers once they are online. As Digital Marketing Officer you will run the day-to-day work that makes that happen, for Persmon itself and for client accounts.

You will plan content calendars, set up and optimise ad campaigns, improve search visibility and measure what is working. You will work with the Head of Marketing, our designers and our videographer, and you will report results in plain language that clients can act on.

What you will do

  • Plan, write and schedule social media content for Persmon and client accounts.
  • Set up, run and optimise paid campaigns on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google Ads within agreed budgets.
  • Carry out keyword research and on-page SEO, and track rankings and Google Business Profile performance.
  • Write clear copy for posts, ads, landing pages, emails and blog articles.
  • Set up and read Google Analytics reports, and prepare monthly results summaries for clients.
  • Brief designers and the videographer, and manage approvals with clients.
  • Respond to comments and messages on managed accounts in a timely, professional way.

What you bring

  • At least one year running social media or ad campaigns for a business, brand or agency; please share examples.
  • Hands-on experience with Meta Business Suite or Ads Manager; Google Ads experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of SEO basics and Google Analytics.
  • Excellent written English and an eye for good design; Canva skills are useful.
  • Comfortable with numbers: you can explain cost per lead and what to change next.
  • Organised enough to run several client accounts at once and meet deadlines.
