Persmon Technologies builds websites, online shops, hotel and operations systems and mobile apps, and Persmon Marketing helps clients grow once they are online. We are looking for a Marketing Representative to be the face of both in the field.
You will visit businesses, attend events and follow up enquiries, learning how hotels, shops, NGOs and firms in Kampala work so you can match them with the right service. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and the projects team.
What you will do
- Visit businesses and organisations in Kampala to introduce Persmon Technologies and Persmon Marketing services.
- Represent Persmon at events, expos and community activities, and collect contacts with consent.
- Follow up enquiries by phone, email and WhatsApp, and book discovery calls for the projects team.
- Keep an accurate record of every lead and conversation.
- Gather feedback from prospects and clients and share what you hear with the marketing team.
- Support campaigns on the ground, including flyers, launches and client visits.
What you bring
- Confident, friendly communicator in English; Luganda or another local language is a plus.
- At least one year in marketing, field sales, brand activation or customer-facing work, or a relevant diploma or degree.
- Comfortable explaining digital services such as websites and social media in plain language.
- Organised, reliable and able to plan your own week of visits.
- Comfortable with a smartphone, WhatsApp Business and spreadsheets.
- Based in or able to travel around Kampala.
